Muskoka · Exterior & Interior Painters
Exterior and interior painting for cottages, homes, boathouses, decks, and docks, from Bracebridge and Gravenhurst to Huntsville, Port Carling, and every lake in between.
Painters rooted in Muskoka
Muskoka Quality Painters is a local painting company that has worked across the towns and lakes of Muskoka for over 8 years. Exterior painting is the heart of the trade, siding, trim, cottages, boathouses, decks, and docks, with interiors, cabinets, and epoxy floors through the quiet months.
The name is the standard. Careful prep, premium paint, crisp lines, and a job site left cleaner than we found it, whether it's a family cottage on Lake Rosseau or a home in downtown Bracebridge.
What we paint
Before & after
The same siding, the same boards, before and after proper prep and premium product. Slide to compare.

A property walk and a clear written quote: no vague allowances, no pressure.
Wash, scrape, sand, prime. The finish only lasts as long as the prep under it.
Top-line paint and stain systems matched to Muskoka weather, never builder-grade.
Drop sheets down, site cleaned every evening, and nothing left behind but the finish.

How we work
Four steps, one crew, no handoffs. The same method on a bunkie door or a full lakeside exterior.
We walk the property, talk colours and finishes, and send a clear written quote with no vague allowances and no surprises later.
The part most painters rush. Washing, scraping, sanding, priming, and masking, because the finish only lasts as long as the prep under it.
Premium coatings, full coverage, crisp lines. A tidy site every evening and steady progress updates so you always know where things stand.
We inspect every surface with you, handle touch-ups on the spot, and leave the property cleaner than we found it.
Colour, considered
The colourways we're asked for most on the lakes. Colour consultation is part of every estimate, we bring drawdowns so you can see it in your own light.
The cottage-country staple: quiet green siding, bright trim.
Deep forest green with white trim: the big-lakes boathouse look.
Crisp navy that reads beautifully against water and granite.
Bright, simple, timeless: lets the roofline and lake do the talking.
Soft weathered grey that sits calmly under the pines.
The classic Muskoka accent: doors, shutters, and bunkie trim.
For seasonal & remote owners
Most of our cottage clients are in Toronto while the work happens. Quote from photos, access arranged in advance, progress updates to your phone, and a cottage that's simply done the next time you drive up.

Good to know
More detail in our guides , costs, stain vs. paint, and when to book.
We paint across all of Muskoka, including Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Port Carling, Bala, Baysville, and the surrounding lakes, Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau, Lake Joseph, and Lake of Bays. If you're nearby but not listed, call us; we're often close.
Both. Exterior painting and staining is the core of our work through spring, summer, and fall, siding, trim, decks, docks, and full cottage exteriors. Through the colder months we take on interior painting: walls, ceilings, trim, and cabinets.
Call or text (705) 952-0219, or email muskokaqualitypainters@gmail.com with a few photos and rough dimensions. For most projects we can walk the property, talk through colours, and have a written estimate to you within a couple of days.
The exterior season runs roughly May through October, and the calendar fills fast, cottagers often book in winter or early spring to get first pick of summer dates. Deck and dock staining is best done in a dry stretch once the wood has dried out from spring.
Yes. A lot of our clients are seasonal: we coordinate access, send photo updates as the work progresses, and lock up when we leave. You can be in Toronto while your cottage gets painted in Muskoka.
Every quote is written after we've walked the property, but for orientation, published Ontario ranges put interior painting around $2.50 to $4.50 per square foot of floor area and exterior painting around $2.25 to $4.00 or more per square foot of wall area, with cottage-country access, height, and prep condition moving the number either way. Our cost guide walks through what drives it; the estimate itself is free.
Premium exterior and interior lines from the major manufacturers, matched to the surface and exposure, not builder-grade product. We're happy to walk you through the exact system we'd recommend for your siding, log, or deck as part of the estimate.
Call, text, or send a few photos. We'll walk the property and have a written quote back to you fast.
